ABOUT US
Eden Farm was officially established in 2011. With dreams firmly rooted in a lifetime of agriculture, the Dwyer family has based their farming venture in decades of tradition, while adding their own values and ideas. Kassie grew up on her grandparents' dairy farm, Frith Farms, where she spent time soaking up every bit of knowledge she could while helping care for the Holstein dairy herd, Angus beef cattle, and dairy goats that she and her sister brought in as 4-H projects. She knew Joe was "the one" the first time she brought him to the farm and he loved every minute, even if he got cow manure on his white shirt.
Plans for Eden began falling in place after high school, while Joe and Kassie were attending college and working. If you ask Kassie what her favorite part of college was, she will tell you it was that she spent four years milking cows at the JF Witter Teaching & Research Center. While her dreams of a family dairy farm weren't feasible for a young couple in a "go big or go home" dairy industry, they started Eden Farm upon graduation, focusing on raising grass-fed beef and a small herd of goats to show. Joey joined the family in 2013.
The farm has evolved with the times and economy, shifting from beef production to feeder calf sales, while the goat herd has steadily been growing, along with our dairy-related products. Kassie was able to leave her "real job" in 2023 and focus on expanding the commercial dairy business with the goats. Joe is a superintendent with MWH Constructors and with his father has built every structure on the farm property except for the original steel barn (which he has remodeled). Together, we have, in a roundabout way, realized the dairy farming dream!
